Not. Very local
Depends on the weight. A good size portion is $6-8. Well worth it
Outstanding poke bowl made with fresh ahi tuna not frozen.
Awesome poke! Nice to see a mom amd pop store still in operation. Love it
The worse part of this store is their parking lot. It's the worst I've ever seen or been to. They seriously need to dig it up and resurface. Be prepared to enter a danger zone. Their poke used to be good. It's not the same as it was when they 1st came out with it. It's very disappointing. Those who still say it's the best don't know much about poke. Not worth the price that's for darn sure.
Old school market. Their Poke's pretty good 😊
Best poke I've ever had! The rest of the store is alright.
Loved it. The poke lady was right on. She made me a special poke with no sesame oil.
Decent beer selection at good prices, convenient location next to north shore food trucks
Best poke on the island! Met the owner's husband, Harmon, he was very friendly and helped us plan out the rest of our road trip around the island! Heard they're trying to open a place in Vegas! Well done!
Ever since i left hawaii in 2005. Im craving for for their poke. Best in the world! Use to eat everyday after school. Wish i had the recipe to make it at home.Guess ill have to go back and visit for a recipe.
My local guide took me there, and I am glad he did. The place is amazing, I had the Poke in two flavors. When it comes to food this one took number 1 spot on my list. It is fresh as it can be,very unique and tasty. If you are looking for something that is truly local, doesn't have that tourist spot feel you will love this place.
Best poke on the island
I didn't grow up in Hawaii eating poke like my wife did, so when I say Kahuku has the best poke I've ever tried it might not mean much. But my wife says the same thing. Seriously good ahi poke.
Came here only for the poke and it’s true. Best in town. Fresh poke, chopsticks, eat in car.
I haven't been here for 3 years but not a things changed. They still maintain a clean facility with friendly service and good prices. When you get there make sure to get a poke powl or some tobassco spicy ahi. Thanks for being convenient to my disabled Gramma.
The best poke around. I am not the biggest fan of seafood so if I'm eating this it must be good. This quaint supermarket has always been the go to for my family and I whilst visiting family in the North Shore. The only change now is pricing but it is still worth it.
The best poke on Oahu if not the whole state. Take out a container and eat it on one of the nearby beaches for a perfect experience.
Best Poke.
The Poki bowl is to exspensive
I come here for the poke. Thats it. But its a commodity supply store. Simple. But that poke is really good.
local vibe, and insanely good poke. don't judge a book by it's cover
Old school convenient store with poke gold in the back! Best poke!
True story.... That damn tako poke is amazing.
After Waimea beach, I headed to Kahuku Superette (recommended by a friend from Vegas) for their poke. It's actually a supermarket. There's plenty of parking and the Shoyu poke is absolutely amazing. Just something about the sauce - it was thicker and the ahi was mmmm delicious. A container of the shoyu poke and some rice cost about $22. A bit expensive. There's no tables to sit so we just sat in the car and ate it. Well worth it.Credit cards accepted for purchases over $10.
Been coming here annually for 6 years. Very friendly, hard working staff. Every year I break my vegan diet for this poke (no one's perfect 🐟)
The poke is fire!!!!! Best on Oahu bar none🤙🏾I usually make my way out there once a month. Food land doesn’t come close in my opinion.
Whenever I am in Oahu, this is the only place I go to for poke. Do yourself a favor and try it out!
It was disappointing! Wouldn't spend a dime on it! We travelled all the way to the North to find out what the hype is about. There were too much spices and sauce, rice was hard as rock. Not sure if that's what they are going for, but we didn't know what we were eating. Ahi poke? more like spices and rice.
Went here on our way back to the north shore.Store looks a little run down, but they offer just about everything you can find at a grocery store. They accept credit cards (min $10 charge) and they accept debit cards, and cash.
Usually the best poke for miles and miles. The rest is just the usual liquor, a few staples and lots of junk foods. The 5 stars is for the poke only.
Excellent poke and korean condiments. No dining area. Rice in container was a ripe off with minimal rice and $1 flat charge. No public restrooms.
Boasting the BEST poke in Kahuku the Superette has many provisions for the advid camper
Da most BEST POKE on island! Plus has a nice assortment of random other stuffs.
Honestly the best poke on the north shore. I came here on a recommendation and it was definitely worth it. They end up being about $13 for a small and $16 for a large (large you can share between 2 people). Pictured below is the large. I highly recommend!
We drive all the way from Kailua just for the kalbi. Best on the island! We've tried other places but this is our favorite. Sometime the credit card machine doesn't work but there's an ATM on site
Holy moly. This was some delicious, freshly made poke. I even got to have an up close look at the tunas as we were visiting at an off time. Very very reasonable priced as well. Lots of other options I'm the market, so come for the poke and stay for the other surprises. Just the right amount of spices... Perfect!
Poke-bowl.
I only ever get one thing, but the Poke is so good, and affordable, I got a LOT of it. Best I've found on the north shore.
They have the best poke and rice in the state, hands down. I think its because of their secret sauce that ferments in 5 gallon buckets in the back of their store. The cashier ladies are very friendly and helpful.
Delicious!
A truly great country story,FishingGear&The very best freashAhi Poki you can find on this island.Aloha
The BEST poke. Hands down the Suprette wins.
That poké bowl is incredible
The best real poke how it was meant to be
An overpriced convenient store along with a poke counter on the side. Got spicy ahi and white rice served with the worst customer service ever. Counter lady has attitude and stink eye with every breath. Poke is fine but so what? If people no like you they won't come back. There's plenty other places on the island with better service than you.
Best stop for poke on North Shore.
This food truck is next to Giovannis shrimp good Kalbi on the North Shore.
Poke bowls is da best!!!!!!
Best Poke Place EVER!!!Love Shoyu Poke but my favorite is a Tako Poke! Two thumbs Up!!
During our recent visit to Hawaii, I read that this grocery store had the best poke. We had to give it at try! It's definitely a no frills type of store. It was tough deciding between the Shoyu ahi poke and the octopus poke. The poke was definitely fresh and flavorful. The price was pretty expensive so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. However, I don't regret giving it a try!
Good little piece of Kahuku history. Supperette used to be the plantation store. They serve a pretty good Poke Bowl and they usually have Musubi. Good selection of snacks, drinks, and wines. Staff are usually very nice and willing to help. Good location, easy to find.
